Early Childhood Care and Development in Tanzania

The report consisting of summary profiles of the study areas, research proposals and endnotes, was commissioned by Bernard van Leer Foundation in order to inform their fact-finding mission to Tanzania in august 2001. It also draws on the findings of an ECCD field research carried out by AMANI ECCD for Save the (UK) in Mtwara Rural in 2000, as a part of their basic support to basic education project.
